A Review of the No.1 Airport Lounge, London Heathrow Terminal 3 (LHR)

A Review of the No.1 Airport Lounge, London Heathrow Terminal 3 (LHR)

Overall Rating: 3/10

A contract lounge operated by an Airport Lounge chain. Accessed on this occasion with a SkyTeam Elite Plus Card and a MEA Flight. Also used by a number of other airlines and open to those with Priority Pass etc.

Food:

A very disappointing selection of salad and soup, with a few cakes. Can order one (very small) hot item per visit.

Drinks:

Alcoholic drinks served from a bar. A good selection of spirits, wines and beers. Lots of standard brands and 3-4 beers and ciders on tap or in bottles. No limit on number of drinks that can be ordered, but a “fit to fly” policy.

Soda fountains available from soft drinks but no bottles.

All cutlery and glasses etc were on the small side, presumably to minimise costs.

WiFi and Power:

Fast Lounge WiFi without a password.

Views and Comfort:

Modern, bright environment with comfy swivel chairs and desks to work at. Some windows overlooking the apron.

Very busy indeed, and frustrating that 1/3 of the Lounge was “reserved”, though I did not see anyone access these areas during my 2 hour visit.
